IN FOCUS

IN FOCUS is a MAP BC Information Working Group initiative designed to open public dialogue on important refugee claimant issues. MAP (Multi-Agency Partnership BC) is a network of over 50 non-government and government agencies supporting refugee claimants (asylum seekers) in BC. Our mandate includes engaging with the public on refugee issues and providing factual information regarding WHO is a refugee claimant and HOW claimants adapt to life in BC.

The four-part online lecture series, open to everyone, ties local to international refugee claimant issues. IN FOCUS invites well known speakers to address issues of concern and converse directly with participants in open Q&A periods.

MAP welcomes ideas from the community on topics you would like to see addressed concerning refugee claimants. Please email info@mapbc.org with your ideas.

We also welcome new volunteers to shape our IN FOCUS lectures and support promotions. If you would like to get involved contact Jenny at info@mapbc.org for more information.
